The Rock Island Railroad Line was probably most famous for its line of trains called the “Rockets”. Introduced in 1947, the Golden Rocket promised comfort and luxury.
A Children's Librarian and the Library2Go Mobile Library will be at Longview Park sharing children's stories and an activity. Guest readers from the Rock Island Police Department will join us to share a story, too!
