All Rock Island Library buildings will close at 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 & 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Library2Go routes are also cancelled. 

Stay in touch with our digital services and PrairieCat app! All locations reopen on Saturday, Nov. 20 with normal 10am to 2 pm hours.

Join in for part four of this 6 part series titled "Why, Black History?".

Today's program is titled "Community Conversations" and participants can expect to learn and discuss in a group setting. This conversation will be facilitated by Rev. P. Wonder Harris and Friends. This event is open to everyone but is best suited for participants aged 10 through adulthood.

Topics: Where did we come from? How did we end up here? Freedom AND justice? AND other topics you want to explore.

Registration is not required, but those who do register will receive email reminders 48 hours prior to this event.

**This meeting ONLY will be held at the Watts-Midtown Branch due to elevator repairs at the Downtown Library.
