All Rock Island Library buildings will close at 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 & 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Library2Go routes are also cancelled. 

Stay in touch with our digital services and PrairieCat app! All locations reopen on Saturday, Nov. 20 with normal 10am to 2 pm hours.

Please join us for the 26th Annual Frieze Lecture Series where we will focus on the theme "Feminism to 2023: From Basics to Barbie". This free community lecture series is made possible through partnership with Augustana College. This year's speaker lineup is as follows:

Nov 9Barbie as a Feminist Icon? A Discussion of Greta Gerwig’s 2023 Blockbuster. Panel discussion led by Jennifer Heacock-Renaud and including WGSS students
