New Year's Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library locations, including Library2Go bookmobile routes, are closed Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Wednesday, Jan. 1 for the New Year's holidays. Libraries are open normal hours Dec. 30 and Jan. 2 of New Year's week.

Augustana faculty will discuss a book from the website thegreatestbooks.org as well as their own selection for the best book ever.  We kick things off this year with Ulysses by James Joyce, presented by Dr. Joseph McDowell, professor of English.
