Our annual program partnership with Augustana College looks at the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's Protestant Reformation movement. Join us for a series of four fascinating lectures by Augustana College faculty on the elgacy of the 1517 movement on intellectual thought, communication, privacy, and the view of science and technology.
Our Nov. 7 presentation features a look at The Reformation and its Impact on Science & Technology, with Joshua M Dyer, assistant professor of physics. Dr. Dyer will consider the connection between the Reformation, the Renaissance, and the Scientific revolution. Dyer earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and his master's and Ph.D. degrees from Michigan State University.
