Event Details

This fall, Rock Island Public Library is asking for donations for our first Community Comforts Donation Drive. Throughout the month of November, we will collect supplies for local organizations who assist those struggling with homelessness and housing insecurity. Donations can be dropped off at all three of our locations during business hours. Our wish list includes non-perishable food items, toiletries, paper products, cleaning supplies, socks and underwear (in original packaging), and many more. See staff or attached PDF for a full wish list. As our community prepares for another long and cold winter, remember those who may not have many comforts and give what you can
