Thanksgiving Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library buildings will close at 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 & 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Library2Go routes are also cancelled. 

Stay in touch with our digital services and PrairieCat app! All locations reopen on Saturday, Nov. 20 with normal 10am to 2 pm hours.

Event Details

4th Friday Book Sale - last one of this year due to November and December holidays. Pick up bags and boxes of great book bargains - all for a voluntary donation. You decide what they're worth! 

Some items may be priced separately. Sales benefit the Library through our PALS volunteer program. We're looking for people to help next year. Please contact us, or provide contact details to sale volunteers!
