All Rock Island Public Library buildings will be closed Wednesday, August 21 so that all staff can attend Staff Development. Library2Go bookmobile will be off the road for the day. Book returns and online services will be available.

This month's  Alpha Book Club selection is 2006 nonfiction work, The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl by Timothy Egan!
