Closed for Labor Day

All physical locations and bookmobile routes for the Rock Island Public Library are closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day. Online services and exterior book returns are available. Please do not return hotspots, culture passes, or Library of Things items in the book drop. These items may be returned Tuesday, Sept. 3.

WQPT will share a short clip from a PBS Kids episode then share a read aloud that connects to the theme/topic of the episode. They will also provide a craft activity related to theme/topic.

Rock Island Library is joining the Parks & Recreation Department, other City departments, and community agencies in a night out at "Party in the Park."  We'll be joining the fun at newly-renovated Denkmann Park, at 6th Avenue and 5th Stre
