All Rock Island Public Library buildings will be closed Wednesday, August 21 so that all staff can attend Staff Development. Library2Go bookmobile will be off the road for the day. Book returns and online services will be available.

In partnership with the Rock Island High School Athletics Department, Rock Island Public Library will be holding a library card drive at Rock Island High School between Freshman & Varsity games against Galesburg to celebrate National Library C
