All physical locations and bookmobile routes for the Rock Island Public Library are closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day. Online services and exterior book returns are available. Please do not return hotspots, culture passes, or Library of Things items in the book drop. These items may be returned Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The Rock Island Public Library Board of Trustees meets regularly at 5 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Downtown Library, 401 19th Street. Time for public comment is provided at the beginning of each meeting.
