Join us as we examine libraries throughout history, trace their development, and figure out why public libraries popped up across America in the mid-1800s.

The Rock Island Public Library Board of Trustees meets regularly at 5 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Downtown Library, 401 19th Street. Time for public comment is provided at the beginning of each meeting.
