Thanksgiving Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library buildings will close at 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 & 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Library2Go routes are also cancelled. 

Stay in touch with our digital services and PrairieCat app! All locations reopen on Saturday, Nov. 20 with normal 10am to 2 pm hours.

Event Details

Our summer math club with Ms. Elizabeth Russell has gone virtual! Math is amazing! Each week features an online tutorial with Ms. R, with a project you can follow along with at home. Register, and we'll contact you about picking up your kit. Join Ms. Russell as she introduces math concepts using fun stories and activities and food! Best for kids in Grades 2 to 7.
