Thanksgiving Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library buildings will close at 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 & 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Library2Go routes are also cancelled. 

Stay in touch with our digital services and PrairieCat app! All locations reopen on Saturday, Nov. 20 with normal 10am to 2 pm hours.

Event Details

Dine for two great causes! "Together We Care" fundraising event at Applebee's, co-presented by Rock Island Public Library Foundation PALS volunteers and Moline Public Library Friends of the Library. 50% of proceeds from special menu orders will be donated back to our two organizations to support library programs and activities. 

This event is at the Illinois-side Applebee's only - 3805 41st Avenue Drive (John Deere Road), Moline, IL 

Show up anytime between 11 am and 9 pm and order from the special menu.
