Program Description

Event Details

Join us bright and early on Saturday, September 14th, for a guided bird walk at Black Hawk State Historic Site! This walk will begin at 8:00am at the parking lot just west of the intersection of Black Hawk Road and 24th Street nearest the floodplain (south of Black Hawk Road) and will be led by Tim Murphy, President of the Quad City Audubon Society. Lender binoculars will be available for use during this program.

This walk is intended for all skill levels, so whether this is your first time birding or you bird regularly, join us for a morning of fun spotting our feathered friends! If you are interested, please note that registration is required for this walk.

*Please also note that, while the group will do its best to stick together, everyone is ultimately responsible for themselves within the park during this event. The trail will be about a mile in length, so please plan accordingly.
