Closed for Labor Day

All physical locations and bookmobile routes for the Rock Island Public Library are closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day. Online services and exterior book returns are available. Please do not return hotspots, culture passes, or Library of Things items in the book drop. These items may be returned Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Join us for an afternoon of crafting stories with Ryan Collins from the Midwest Writing Center. Explore different prompts and get creative at this event for young writers. This event will take place in the Midwest Writing Center (on the ground floor of the Downtown Library).
