Thanksgiving Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library buildings will close at 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 & 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Library2Go routes are also cancelled. 

Stay in touch with our digital services and PrairieCat app! All locations reopen on Saturday, Nov. 20 with normal 10am to 2 pm hours.

Event Details

Join us for an afternoon with STEAM on Wheels! We'll be exploring laser-cut projects and virtual reality. This STEAM event is for teens 12-17. (And since we'll be working during the dinner hour, snacks and water will be available.) 

Another STEAM on Wheels event will be held at our Southwest Branch on Saturday, January 20 from 10-12. These events are part of our Project Next Generation series.
