Using the stipulations of book banning laws such as that passed in 2023 by the Iowa legislature and signed into law by their Gorvernor, Kim Reynolds, and looking at the restrictions of similar laws recently enacted in other states of our republic, we will take a look at passages from the Holy Bible not usually quoted to see whether it could be cleared for reading in our our public schools and libraries or if it should also be banned and access to it controlled.

Senior citizens and interested adult library patrons are invited to today's book discussion about books that have been banned from or relocated to different shelves of school and public libraries in many communities.

You are invited to find and read from a copy of the book Holy Bible for today's forum.

Please come with your questions and/or comments.

Be aware that this series of banned book discussions is of an adult nature.
Trigger warning:  Some persons may find the materials uncomfortable, offensive, or hard to understand.
