Life Along the Mississippi 
     Narrated by the actress, Loretta Young, now deceased, and produced by her late son, Christopher Young and his wife, Linda Lewis (who appear at the 6 minute mark of the video), this documentary was originally broadcast on PBS television stations in 1994. It is the only time Miss Young has appeared on the same program with her son and daughter-in-law.
     The video includes scenes from the river’s history from the French explorers and soldiers through the Civil War, to include footage current with the time the film was made.
