Christmas Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library locations, including Library2Go bookmobile routes, are closed for the Christmas holiday on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25. Libraries are open normal hours  Monday and Thursday of Christmas week, but there will be no Goodwill computer assistance program on Dec. 26. 

Stay in touch over the holiday with our digital services and PrairieCat app. Our website "online branch" is always open!

Rock Island Public Library staff will be at the SAL Early Head Start Summer Fun Festival with a fun activity, information on library events, and library card sign-up. Drop by to meet our library staff and learn about all the fun (and FREE) things we offer for your family!

The Summer Fun Festival is free and fun for all families in the Quad Cities, and offers a chance to learn about Early Head Start for ages 0 to 3, enjoy free family activities, learn about local community resources (like your library!) and have TONS of free fun!
