Known Issues with PrairieCat app

PrairieCat is working on known issues with the mobile app. Card registration on Android devices seems to be resolved. Apple device users experiencing app launch issues may wish to try this fix: Delete the app, then restart the device before reinstalling a new copy of the app from the Apple store. In some cases, this resolves the issue.

Event Details

Beginning June 1, up to 2 adults and 2 children living in the same household will be allowed on board the Mobile Library for short periods of time. Masks are required. As this is a small space, we request that you social distance by waiting just off the steps outside while our staff member checks out your items. 

You can also continue to pick up holds and have us choose items for you with Mobile Library2Go Curbside! Library2Go also provides ROCKfi to RISD students!

Curbside service: Place an item on hold and we will call you when your item is ready. We will schedule an appointment with you at the stop you prefer! Then simply drive to your stop at the set time, call the number on our sign (309-989-5450) and let us load your items into your car. We will also have grab-and-go surprise Story Bundles available for easy pickup. 5 items are included with your Story Bundle, we have selections for adults, teens and children.
