Program Description

Event Details

Step into history on Saturday, November 11th, as Minda Powers-Douglas from QC Haunts & History leads a haunted walking tour through Downtown Rock Island. Not only will you learn about John Looney's old haunts, but also the spooky local history of the Rock Island Brewing Co., local theaters, the former YMCA, and more. This walking tour is 90 minutes in length and about 1.2 miles long roundtrip. We will gather in the Downtown Library parking lot at 10:30am. Registration is required for this event.

Please note that there is adult content including tales of violence, drinking, and brothels, so tours are limited to an adult audience. For more information about the content of the tour, please visit the QC Haunts & History website at https://qchaunts.com/.
