Join us for a screening of the 2019 film, "The Public". This movie is set in the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, and takes place during an extreme winter cold snap. With nowhere else to go, some homeless individuals take shelter in the public library and refuse to leave. This film asks viewers question the rolls of public libraries in their community and ponder what our communities do for those experiencing homelessness.

This is part one of a two-part series focusing on homelessness in Rock Island. Join us on Tuesday, January 21st for a Community Discussion on Homelessness in Rock Island. We will be joined by several organizations working with those experiencing homeless and provide time for questions and answers.
