Thanksgiving Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library buildings will close at 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 & 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Library2Go routes are also cancelled. 

Stay in touch with our digital services and PrairieCat app! All locations reopen on Saturday, Nov. 20 with normal 10am to 2 pm hours.

Looking to add the final touch to your Halloween decorations? Be sure to join us on Monday, October 28th, to make a spooky upcycled paper wreath! All supplies will be provided. Please note registration is required.

Use your Rock Island Public Library card to log in and search for a video entitled "Halloween Party Décor." The "Upcycled Paper Wreath" is one of six crafts featured in the video.
