Christmas Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library locations, including Library2Go bookmobile routes, are closed for the Christmas holiday on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25. Libraries are open normal hours  Monday and Thursday of Christmas week, but there will be no Goodwill computer assistance program on Dec. 26. 

Stay in touch over the holiday with our digital services and PrairieCat app. Our website "online branch" is always open!

Event Details

Take your movie experience to a new level by interacting and playing along wth the movie. We could tell you the movie is the classic (1979!) road caper adventures of a certain green frog, the glamorous pig who loves him, and an assorted cast of lovable characters, but we can't tell you the title, due to movie licencing agreements. It is rated G, for family audiences. And now, on with the show! 

Each child will receive a bag of props and song lyrics to be part of the movie.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR EACH CHILD ATTENDING
