Event Details

Return to camp or experience camp life for the first time with our mid-challenge event, "Camp Wanna-Be-Reading!" RIPL "camp counselors" will be in our parking lot at the Downtown Library to offer activities for all ages.  Drop in anytime during event hours to make retro camp crafts, try out fun tests of skill, and learn some camp know-how from RIPL staff and community partners.

Make memories and collect your Camp RIPL brag tags at marked stations while they last. Attending will also earn you an activity badge in our Camp iRead challenge.

Free hot dogs, water, and chips for the first 150 people. Look for the big tent in our parking lot and come to "Camp Wanna-Be-Reading." In the event of severe weather, our "camp counselors" will move the event inside.)
