New Year's Holiday Closings

All Rock Island Library locations, including Library2Go bookmobile routes, are closed Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Wednesday, Jan. 1 for the New Year's holidays. Libraries are open normal hours Dec. 30 and Jan. 2 of New Year's week. 

Stay in touch over the holidays with our digital services and PrairieCat app. Our website "online branch" is always open! We wish you a very Happy New Year, and our thanks for using library services in 2024!

Winter is a great time to find yourself in a book! Enter and participate in the Rock Island Public Library winter reading challenge, to earn rewards for reaching your reading goals and help us reach 5,000 minutes of community reading.
