Annual celebration of the freedom to read and think as you like during Banned Books Week brings in local writers, librarians, teachers and other lovers of the written word to read aloud from their favorite banned or challenged works. Refreshments available at 5:30 pm. Readings begin at 6:00 pm. Enter our drawing to win Banned Books Week merchandise, and show your support for freedom of expression.
Presented in conjunction with Midwest Writing Center.
Event is free and open to the public. Some readings may contain mature content.
