  • Family passes for the Quad City Botanical Center, Figge Art Museum, Putnam Museum, German-American Heritage Center, and Niabi Zoo (in season.) Also available with library cards from an Illinois public library. Sorry, no interstate borrowing.

  • Cake pans, Cricut cartridges, video games, preloaded learning launch pads for children, teens and adults.

  • Enjoy free access to NYTIMES online at this library! Read at the library or at home with our link.

  • Digital Content, such as digital books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, music, comic books, & more.

  • Mobile hotspots (adults 18 and over) so you can take WiFi where ever you go!

  • Books in all formats, DVDs, CDs, magazines, graphic novels, and more. Quantity limitations may apply for DVDs. 

  • Use library computers for 90 minutes.

  • Learn online with tools for general research, genealogy/history, stocks, homework help, and more. (Try our new Consumer Reports online subscription!)

  • Find book recommendations with Bookletters, NoveList, and our personalized service, Bookmate

  • Puppets, learning kits, very ready reader packages, and more from our children's department

Inside our Downtown Library Children's Room, you'll also find free take and make projects to do as a family, puzzles you can play in the library, ABC Mouse and AWE learning computers, and early learning resources,
