Rock Island Public Library

Quad City fans of noted author Neil Gaiman can watch a live Internet event, “An Evening with Neil Gaiman,” from 5 to 7 p.m. local time on April 12 at the Rock Island Public Library, 401 19^th Street. The live video stream of Mr. Gaiman’s remarks is made possible by special arrangements with Jessamine County (Ky.) Public Library (JCPL), OARnet, the regional Ohio research and education network, the University of Minnesota and Internet2.

 This event, which kicks off National Library Week (April 11-17), is coordinated by the American Library Association’s Campaign for America’s Libraries and the Jessamine County (Ky.) Public Library (JCPL).
